Every spring, the Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux, the largest square in France with its 12 hectares, hosts the Grande Brocante des Quinconces. For more than two weeks, from late April to early May, over 200 professional exhibitors from all over France offer a wide selection of antiques, antique furniture, art objects, paintings, lighting fixtures, tableware, and curiosities. This major event is one of the most important professional flea markets in the Southwest.

Place des Quinconces, a monumental setting

The Place des Quinconces provides a magnificent setting for this event. Bordered by the monument aux Girondins and its majestic fountains, it overlooks the quays of the Garonne River and benefits from an exceptional location in the heart of Bordeaux. The immensity of the square can accommodate a large number of stands, arranged in regular aisles, offering visitors a pleasant strolling experience. The flea market takes place in the central part of the esplanade, between the rostral columns and the monument.
