Grand flea market on July 14th in the streets of the former salt city
Every July 14th, the Grande Brocante de Marsal transforms the streets of this fortified city into a lively open-air market. Dozens of exhibitors – flea market dealers, antique dealers, and individuals – offer their finds in an exceptional historic setting. The event is jointly organized by the Foyer rural and the football club of Marsal.
Marsal is a village of 300 inhabitants located in the heart of the Saulnois region, classified among the Plus Beaux Détours de France. The former stronghold, fortified by Vauban, preserves impressive ramparts, a monumental French gate, and a departmental salt museum that retraces the millennia-old history of salt exploitation in the region. The military and heritage setting of Marsal gives the flea market a unique atmosphere.
