The Juicq Car Boot Sale

Every first Sunday of June, the village of Juicq, located in the canton of Saint-Hilaire-de-Villefranche in Charente-Maritime, hosts its annual car boot sale. Organized by the association Juicq Loisirs, presided over by Éric Minet, the event unfolds in the village streets: route de la Mare, rue des Lilas, and rue de la Cure.

An Authentic Village Car Boot Sale

Private exhibitors set up their stalls along the village streets, creating a picturesque treasure hunt route in the heart of the village. The price is attractive: €2 per linear meter. Booking is recommended by phone with the association. Pitches are assigned after registration, and exhibitors are welcomed from 6 am for setup.

Juicq, between Saintonge and Aunis

Juicq is a rural commune in Saintonge, halfway between Saintes and Saint-Jean-d'Angély. The village charms with its rural setting, its local stone houses, and its rolling landscapes. The car boot sale is an opportunity to discover this authentic village, far from the tourist bustle of the coast.

Food and Camaraderie

The volunteers of Juicq Loisirs provide full catering: sandwiches, fries, sausages, and merguez, as well as a refreshment stand. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, in the pure tradition of Charentais rural car boot sales.
