The Grande Brocante d'Automne de Sarlat: An Institution in Périgord Noir

For over thirty years, the Club Inner Wheel de Sarlat has organized one of the most renowned professional flea markets in the Dordogne department each autumn. Located on the Place de la Grande Rigaudie, a vast esplanade overlooking the old town, this event attracts thousands of visitors who come to hunt for treasures in an exceptional setting, at the foot of the lauze roofs and golden facades of Sarlat-la-Canéda.

Exclusively Professional Exhibitors

What distinguishes the Grande Brocante d'Automne from other local events is its strictly professional nature. Approximately 70 to 100 selected antique dealers and flea market vendors present antique furniture, art objects, paintings, silverware, lighting, earthenware, trinkets, and quality curiosities. Connoisseurs will find remarkable pieces, from Perigordian style furniture to rare collector's items.

An Exceptional Setting in the Heart of Sarlat

The Place de la Grande Rigaudie offers an ideal location for this major flea market. Situated just a stone's throw from the historic center of Sarlat, a UNESCO World Heritage site, it allows visitors to combine the pleasure of treasure hunting with the discovery of one of France's most beautiful medieval cities. The cobbled streets, Renaissance private mansions, and the markets of Périgord Noir complete this day of rich discoveries.

A Charity Event

The Inner Wheel Club, the women's branch of Rotary International, donates the profits from the event to local charities. Participating in this flea market also means contributing to solidarity actions in Périgord Noir. A refreshment stand and a food stall are available on-site for meals in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
