The Grande Braderie de Montluçon: the open-air commerce festival

A major event in Montluçon's commercial life, the Grande Braderie takes over the most beautiful streets of the city center—boulevard de Courtais, avenue de la République, and faubourg Saint-Pierre—for an entire day dedicated to great deals. Organized by the Montluçon Coeur de Ville association, this event brings together nearly 200 exhibitors in a festive and popular atmosphere.

A route through the heart of the city

The route of the street sale follows Montluçon's main commercial arteries, offering visitors a route of several hundred meters lined with various stalls. Local businesses offer their stock at reduced prices, while flea market vendors and individuals offer clothing, accessories, decorative items, books, and various curiosities. Together, they create a giant market where you can spend the day browsing and bargaining.

Two annual events

The Montluçon street sale takes place in two editions: the spring sale, generally scheduled for the first Sunday in June, and the autumn sale in October. Each edition attracts several thousand visitors from all over the Montluçon area and beyond, making these days highlights of local commercial activity.

Considerable visitor flow

With its strategic location on the city's main streets, the street sale benefits from naturally high attendance. The stand rental fees of 12 euros per linear meter include free parking for the vehicle behind the stand. The event runs from 8 am to 6 pm for visitors, with exhibitors able to set up from 5 am.
