The biggest street sale in Pacé with 2000 exhibitors, organized by the Comité d'Animation Pacéen
The Grande Braderie de la Foucherais is the flagship event of Pacé in Ille-et-Vilaine. Every autumn, the Comité d'Animation Pacéen (CAP) transforms the town center into a huge flea market welcoming up to 2000 exhibitors. From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the streets of Pacé fill with stalls where individuals and professionals offer clothes, toys, furniture, books, and a thousand everyday items at bargain prices. It is one of the most important street sales in the Rennes agglomeration.
The Grande Braderie de la Foucherais bears the name of the historic district of Pacé and brings together up to 2000 exhibitors each year, making it one of the largest street sales in the Rennes basin. From the town center to the adjacent streets, stalls stretch for several kilometers, offering an exceptional treasure hunt. You can find everything: designer clothes, vintage tableware, antique toys, books, small furniture, appliances, and decorative items. The setup for vendors begins at 5 a.m., and the first early bird bargain hunters are not far behind in browsing the aisles.
The Comité d'Animation Pacéen (CAP) organizes this street sale with impressive logistics. Each 2 linear meter spot is offered at 7 euros, and prior registration is mandatory to secure a spot. On the day, refreshment stands and food stalls line the route — galettes-saucisses, crêpes, and Breton cider are a must. Musical entertainment and children's games complete the program, turning this commercial day into a true popular festival.
A commune of over 12,000 inhabitants located immediately west of Rennes, Pacé combines residential quality of life with associative dynamism. The town has numerous cultural and sports facilities, and its position on the Rennes-Saint-Brieuc axis makes it a natural crossroads. The Grande Braderie de la Foucherais perfectly illustrates this community spirit that enlivens Pacé life throughout the year.
The Grande Braderie de la Foucherais returns to Pacé in October 2026. 2000 exhibitors expected, free entry, food on site.
