The Grande Braderie de Châteaulin by Secours Populaire

Every spring, the Secours Populaire Français of Châteaulin organizes its traditional Grande Braderie at the Espace Coatigrac'h, on the road to Quimill. Over three days — from Friday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — hundreds of second-hand items are offered at very affordable prices, in a spirit of solidarity and sharing.

The street sale offers a wide variety of items: clothing for adults and children, toys, household linen, shoes, crockery, books, cleaning products, and during the spring edition, Easter chocolates. On site, crêpes, coffee, and drinks are offered by volunteers. Entry is completely free for visitors.

Secours Populaire in Châteaulin: solidarity in action

The Secours Populaire Français is a national solidarity association that works to help people in difficulty. The Finistère federation, to which the Châteaulin branch belongs, regularly organizes collections, street sales, and events to finance its social actions and support families in need. The street sales help to raise essential funds and offer useful items at low prices.

The Grande Braderie de Châteaulin is organized twice a year: a spring edition in April, and an autumn edition in November. These two events are highly anticipated by the inhabitants of Châteaulin and the surrounding towns, who find bargains there while participating in a solidarity initiative.

Espace Coatigrac'h: an ideal setting for a street sale

Located on the route de Quimill in Châteaulin, the Espace Coatigrac'h is the town's main multi-purpose venue. Its large capacity makes it a prime location for large-scale street sales and associative events. It is easily accessible from the town center and has ample parking for visitors.
