In May 2025, Lac de la Magdeleine hosted the CLGM's annual grand car boot sale. The numerous exhibitors offered furniture, toys, clothes, and various items by the water's edge. The spring sunshine contributed to the success of this outdoor bargain hunting day, one of the most important in the Bassin d'Arcachon.
