The Grand Swap Meet of Pont-l'Abbé, over 200 exhibitors in Pays Bigouden

The Pont-l'Abbé animation committee organizes one of the most important swap meets in southern Finistère every year in May. On the vast parking lot of the E. Leclerc shopping center, on the road to Saint-Jean-Trolimon, over two hundred exhibitors set up for a day of festive and popular flea market. This event, which is one of the anticipated gatherings of the Bigouden spring, attracts thousands of visitors each year to hunt for bargains, stroll, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

The E. Leclerc parking area, both covered and open-air, offers sufficient space to accommodate this large number of exhibitors in good conditions. The aisles are wide, allowing for easy circulation even during peak hours. Whether it rains or shines, the event takes place, thanks to the covered areas that shelter part of the stalls.

A plethora of items for all bargain hunters

With over 200 exhibitors, including individuals and professionals, the range of items offered is extremely varied. You can find everything: clothing for adults and children, old and new toys, garden furniture, dishes and kitchen utensils, books, vinyl records and cassettes, tools and DIY equipment, trinkets and decorative objects, electronics and appliances, home textiles, and of course the famous indefinable "bits and bobs" that make flea markets charming. Professional dealers sometimes bring beautiful antique pieces or vintage furniture that delight discerning collectors.

A friendly event with on-site catering

The Grand Swap Meet is also distinguished by its festive atmosphere. Catering is provided on-site by the organizers: merguez sausages, chips, sausages, sandwiches, kouigns, crepes, and drinks allow visitors to regain their strength without leaving the site. This catering offer, typically Breton in its generosity, contributes to the festive atmosphere and encourages families to spend the whole day there.
