The Grand Ascension Car Boot Sale of Devecey was held on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Around 200 exhibitors displayed their stalls around the Salle des Fêtes, offering old items, clothing, furniture, toys, and trinkets to the many treasure hunters who came to enjoy the public holiday. A festive and friendly day, enlivened by the Football Club de Châtillon-Devecey's refreshment stand.

Review of the May 29, 2025 edition
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, Devecey pulsed to the rhythm of its traditional Ascension car boot sale. Some 200 individual exhibitors had set up around the Salle des Fêtes Maison Develçoise to offer the contents of their attics and cellars: stylish furniture, antique tableware, clothing for the whole family, old toys, trinkets, tools, and a host of hard-to-catalog curiosities that make village car boot sales so charming.
Visitors arrived in large numbers from the morning, taking advantage of the Ascension public holiday to take their time browsing the aisles in search of bargains. The festive and relaxed atmosphere, punctuated by the activities of the Football Club de Châtillon-Devecey team and the conviviality of the refreshment stand, made this spring day a true moment of shared local life.
