The great rendezvous for Vimeu and Ponthieu collectors
Scheduled on Easter Monday, the Gamaches fair benefits from a strategic date in the bargain hunter's calendar: public holiday, often sunny, ideal for family outings. With 50 to 100 exhibitors, it is one of the department's largest collectors' fairs.
Philately, numismatics, postcards, champagne caps, galette beans, figurines, old toys, vinyls, old papers, comics, militaria, advertising: the range is exceptionally wide.
Gamaches is a town of around 2,500 inhabitants in the west of the department, in the Bresle valley, traditionally linked to glassmaking and luxury bottling. A crossroads between the Somme, Seine-Maritime and Pays de Bray.
The quality of exhibitors - experienced collectors, specialist dealers, philatelic and numismatic societies - fosters rich technical exchanges. Beginners are welcomed with helpful advice.
With 7.30 am to 5 pm hours, the day leaves plenty of time to browse the stands, perhaps returning after reflection.
On Monday 6 April 2026, Gamaches hosted its traditional Easter Monday All Collections Fair. Around 75 specialist exhibitors displayed their albums, showcases and binders, offering an exceptional range: stamps, coins, postcards, champagne caps, galette beans, vinyls, comics.
The audience of seasoned collectors, curious visitors and holiday-day families kept the fair busy throughout the day. The variety of specialities enriched exchanges.
The fair confirms its place among the region's essential rendezvous. Next edition in 2027.
