The Gamaches flea market, 2nd edition at the Mille Club

On Sunday 19 April 2026, Gamaches hosts the 2nd edition of its flea market, set up at the commune's Mille Club. With around fifty planned exhibitors, this recent event aims to establish itself in the south-west Somme flea market calendar, at the gates of the Bray country and the Bresle valley.

A suitable location for a spring flea market

The Mille Club, a multi-purpose hall typical of many French rural communes, offers a suitable setting to host a flea market: indoor or nearby outdoor space depending on weather, nearby parking, setup facilities for exhibitors.

Gamaches, a historic Bresle town

Gamaches is a small town of around 2,500 inhabitants, nestled in the Bresle valley, a river that historically separates Picardy from Normandy. Located on the south-western edge of the Somme department, it was long a strategic and commercial crossroads. The town retains traces of its past: castle remains, Saint-Pierre church, old houses. The Bresle valley, famous for its glassmaking tradition (the region produces nearly 75% of luxury bottling worldwide).

With 50 expected exhibitors, the Gamaches flea market remains human-scale, which is its entire charm. The goods offered are varied: tableware, clothes, toys, books, records, trinkets, small furniture, tools, second-hand appliances.
