Varennes-Changy is a village located in the Loiret department, in the heart of the forest Gâtinais, near Nogent-sur-Vernisson and the Changy state forest. This rural area, crossed by the Cléry river and its tributaries, is characterized by preserved hedgerows, ponds, and deciduous forests. The village has a regular Sunday market and active community life.

110 exhibitors for a complete fair

The Foire du Gâtinais brings together around 110 exhibitors who set up in the village for a day starting at 6 am. The event combines several aspects: a classic car boot sale where individuals and second-hand dealers offer their finds, a country market with local producers and artisans, some attractions and rides for children, and food stalls.

A full program from morning to evening

Treasure hunters and strollers can meet from 6 am to 6 pm to enjoy all the activities. The morning is dedicated to treasure hunting: the best deals are made in the early hours. In the afternoon, the atmosphere relaxes, and the event takes on the air of a local festival. On-site catering allows for a pleasant extension of the day.

Two complementary editions

The spring edition, in April, marks the opening of the good season and attracts exhibitors who want to clear out their attics after winter. The September edition, with its nascent autumn colors, takes place at the start of the back-to-school season and often features more agricultural and artisanal products related to autumn harvests. These two events are the highlights of Varennes-Changy's festive calendar.
