The Foire des Brassadeaux of Chantemerle-lès-Grignan opened the spring season in March 2025. Car boot sale, flea market, artisans, and local producers gathered in this Drôme Provençale village to perpetuate the tradition of Provençal fairs. Lavender, honey, olive oils, wines from the Baronnies, and the famous anise-flavored brassadeaux made up the local produce offering, while the flea market stalls delighted bargain hunters.
The Foire des Brassadeaux 2025 lived up to its promise of spectacularly marking the beginning of spring in Chantemerle-lès-Grignan. In this authentic village of the Drôme Provençale, amidst olive trees and green oaks, the annual festival brought together villagers, residents from neighboring towns, and a few visitors attracted by the reputation of this event with its undeniable Provençal charm.
The stalls from the car boot sale and flea market offered their usual assortment of bargains, while local producers showcased the treasures of the Drôme region: fragrant honeys, olive oils from the hills, lavender and lavandin, wines from the Grignan-les-Adhémar appellation. And of course, the essential brassadeaux — those crisp, anise-flavored bread rings — delighted visitors throughout the day.
The next Foire des Brassadeaux is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026.
