Pouligny-Saint-Pierre, Cradle of an AOP Cheese

Pouligny-Saint-Pierre is a village of about 1,000 inhabitants located in the heart of the Brenne Regional Natural Park. It is world-famous for the cheese that bears its name, a raw milk AOP goat cheese with a slender pyramid shape, benefiting from an appellation of origin since 1972. The Maison du fromage et des produits locaux (House of Cheese and Local Products) allows visitors to discover this unique gastronomic heritage.
