On Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the 49th Foire à la Brocante de Lanuéjouls brought together 76 professional antique dealers and flea market vendors on the Place du Couvent and Place du Foirail. Organized by the association Vivre à Lanuéjouls, this edition benefited from favorable weather conditions that led to a significant turnout throughout the day.
From the morning onwards, car queues formed on the outskirts of the village, testifying to the reputation of this event, which remains the oldest flea market in the Aveyron department. Many bargain hunters, local residents, and holidaymakers happy to participate in this authentic event, browsed the aisles of the market in search of rare items and good deals among the antique furniture, silverware, earthenware, paintings, and collectible objects offered by professionals.
Despite a difficult economic climate that affected the turnover of professionals with fewer buyers, the organizing committee reported a positive assessment of this 49th edition, emphasizing that "the enthusiasm for authentic flea markets, which are becoming increasingly rare, remains strong." An announcement was made for the 50th edition on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, an anniversary that promises to be a highlight of Aveyron's flea market scene.
