A friendly flea market in the heart of the Bressuire bocage, alongside the Avril Bière Fest
Every spring, the small town of Saint-Amand-sur-Sèvre hosts a popular flea market enjoyed by locals and bargain hunters from the region. Organized by the dynamic local Comité des Fêtes, this event is part of a festive weekend combining second-hand sales and conviviality, with the Avril Bière Fest — a celebration of local craft beers — as a backdrop.
Saint-Amand-sur-Sèvre is a charming village nestled in the northwest of Deux-Sèvres, on the border with Vendée. Crossed by the Sèvre Nantaise river, the town offers a green and peaceful setting, ideal for strolling between flea market stalls. The village lanes, Romanesque church and rolling bocage landscapes add particular charm to this outdoor browsing day.
The flea market brings together mainly private sellers offering everyday objects, occasional furniture, clothing, toys, books, crockery and small appliances. It is the perfect opportunity to find a bargain or give a second life to forgotten attic treasures. The atmosphere is family-friendly and relaxed, conducive to exchanges between neighbours and visitors.
The flea market takes place outdoors in the village of Saint-Amand-sur-Sèvre. Admission is free for visitors. Parking is available in surrounding streets.
