Organized by the Association des Maraîchers de Bourges (AMB), this large-scale event welcomes over 300 exhibitors each year in the parking lot of the Carrefour shopping center, chaussée de Chappe. In 2026, it celebrates its 26th edition, confirming its status as a major event for bargain hunters in the Berry region.

A strategic and spacious location

The parking lot of the Carrefour shopping center offers considerable space, allowing the installation of hundreds of stands on a flat and accessible surface. Located on the northern outskirts of Bourges, the site benefits from easy access from major roads and abundant parking. The chaussée de Chappe, an old path leading to the Bourges marshes, connects the site to the historic marsh district, a remarkable garden classified as part of the city's heritage.

The Bourges marshes, a vast expanse of 135 hectares of family and market gardens in the heart of the city, constitute a unique natural and cultural heritage in France. The Association des Maraîchers de Bourges, which organizes the flea market, works to preserve and enhance this exceptional site. The profits from the flea market contribute to financing the association's activities and the maintenance of the marshes.

Admission is free for visitors. Exhibitors set up starting at 4:30 am. Registration is done online via HelloAsso. Catering and refreshment services are provided throughout the day. Exhibitor placement is on a first-come, first-served basis.
