Young players raise funds for their season, COSEC car park
In Labruguière, as in many Tarn towns, rugby is a serious matter. The local club's rugby school, which trains young players aged 5 to 14, organises each spring its flea market to fund part of its season: equipment, jerseys, balls, tournament travel. On Sunday 19 April 2026, the event returns to the COSEC car park.
Parents and volunteers from the club oversee the event from 8am to 5pm. Exhibitors are private individuals from Labruguière and surrounding communes: children's and adult clothing, toys, baby items, books, board games, crockery, small appliances, sports equipment, bikes, DVDs. Soft prices, club refreshments.
Nestled at the foot of the Montagne Noire, Labruguière is a small Tarn town rich in history. Its circular medieval centre houses a 13th century hall, Saint-Thyrs church and the remains of fortified gates.
Participating means more than treasure hunting: it means supporting the young rugby players who learn, between scrums and third halves, the values of solidarity and respect.
