Nicknamed the 'Pompeii of Provence' for its spectacular ancient remains, Vaison-la-Romaine combines millennia-old heritage with a lively community life. On Sunday 26 April 2026, from 8 am to 5 pm, Place Burrus – a vast modern esplanade lined with plane trees in the heart of the lower town – hosts the annual flea market organised by the Ecorev social grocery.

Ecorev is Vaison-la-Romaine's social and solidarity grocery store. It allows people in precarious situations to access food and hygiene products at reduced prices, while fostering social connection. The spring flea market is a key moment of self-funding and visibility.

What you'll find

Place Burrus turns into a vast second-hand market. Private sellers, Vaison residents and volunteers display everyday items, clothing, toys, books, tableware, small furniture, decor, sporting goods and trinkets. Stand fee (7 euros) is fully redirected to the social grocery's mission.
