2025 Edition of the Flea Market at the Château de Montréal

In May 2025, the Château de Montréal hosted its annual 4-day flea market, organized by Hubert Fénestrier. In the exceptional setting of this medieval and Renaissance fortress, a listed Historic Monument, professional dealers and individuals offered their finest pieces to visitors who came in large numbers to enjoy the event and the unique setting offered by this castle under restoration.

For four days, the courtyards and spaces of the Château de Montréal took on the air of a grand flea market and antique fair. Antique furniture, ceramics and porcelain, art objects, prints and engravings, old books, jewelry and silverware, tools, and various curiosities caught the eye of treasure hunters and collectors from all over Southern Ardèche, Gard, Lozère, and beyond.

The 4-day format allowed visitors to return several times to fully enjoy the offerings, to browse the castle's rooms and courtyards, and to combine their visit to the flea market with exploring the monument and its history. Free entry for flea market visitors led to a large influx of people, making this 2025 edition a great success for Hubert Fénestrier and his castle.
