Every August 15th, COVAC organises in Flassans-sur-Issole the largest flea market of the Var summer. Over a hundred exhibitors invade the village centre and Grands Prés car park in a popular Provencal festive atmosphere. Local chiners, summer visitors and collectors gather for this festive event combining chining, entertainment, refreshments and food.

In the Var chining calendar, the grand August 15th flea market in Flassans-sur-Issole holds a special place. Neither the oldest nor the most prestigious, it has become one of the most popular thanks to its strategic calendar positioning - summer public holiday - and the meticulous organisation of Association COVAC.
A large format at the heart of summer
The flea market generally spreads over the village centre and the Grands Prés car park, offering exhibitors generous space. The August 15 atmosphere is special: a mix of holidaymakers, year-round residents and tourists.

The Var summer is scorching: an early arrival - from 7am - is strongly advised. Bring caps, water, sunscreen. Professional chiners arrive from 5am.
