Fête de la Madeleine de Belleville-sur-Loire

On Sunday, July 20, 2025, the Étang des Genièvres in Belleville-sur-Loire hosted the traditional Fête de la Madeleine. From 6 am, flea market exhibitors set up their stalls around the pond, offering antique objects, trinkets, books, tableware, and all sorts of finds.

Throughout the day, the association « Faut que ça tourne Belleville » offered concerts, a musette ball, children's entertainment, and shows. The drinks stand and food stalls were open for lunch and dinner. The evening concluded with a torchlight procession followed by a magnificent fireworks display over the pond. Admission was free for this popular festival that brings together the inhabitants of Belleville-sur-Loire and the surrounding Sancerrois communes every year.
