For 47 editions, the Sète Numismatic Fair has brought together lovers of ancient and modern coins every year in a friendly and professional setting. Specialized dealers from all over the South of France set up their display cases and stands at the Salle Georges Brassens, offering ancient, medieval, royal, and modern coins, banknotes, military and civil medals, tokens, and decorations. Collectors, whether beginners or experts, come to complete their series, have their pieces appraised, and exchange with enthusiasts who share the same numismatic curiosity.

The Société Sétoise de Numismatique is the pillar of this event. This association of enthusiasts organizes the annual fair as well as monthly meetings, conferences, and themed exhibitions throughout the year. The Salle Brassens, a cultural setting facing the Thau lagoon

The Salle Georges Brassens, located at the Mas Coulet parking lot on the Route de Cayenne, offers a spacious and functional space to host the fair. Easily accessible by car with ample free parking, it allows exhibitors to comfortably set up their display cases and visitors to move easily between the stands. The hall pays tribute to Sète's most famous son, the poet and singer Georges Brassens, whose name resonates with popular culture and the authenticity that numismatics also claims.
