Bi-weekly flea market on the prestigious Allées Paul Riquet in Béziers, Tuesdays and Saturdays all year round
The Brocante des Allées Paul Riquet is held every Tuesday and Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm on the lower part of the famous avenues, after the statue of Paul Riquet towards the Jardin des Poètes. Professional and private dealers offer antique furniture, trinkets, paintings, vinyl records, jewelry, books, and curiosities. Free admission, friendly atmosphere under the century-old plane trees.
Twice a week, the Allées Paul Riquet — the emblematic avenue of Béziers (34500) — hosts a flea market popular with treasure hunters and lovers of antique objects. Set up in the lower part of the avenues, between the statue of Paul Riquet and the Jardin des Poètes, exhibitors offer a remarkable range of items: antique furniture, sculptures, paintings, vinyl records, jewelry, rare books, tableware, and curiosities of all kinds. The atmosphere is warm and typically Southern, under the protective shade of the century-old plane trees that line this listed promenade.
Measuring 600 meters long, the Allées Paul Riquet have been the beating heart of Béziers since the 19th century. Lined with café terraces, private mansions, and majestic plane trees, they pay tribute to Pierre-Paul Riquet, the Béziers genius who designed the Canal du Midi. In the background, the Italian-style municipal theater overlooks the promenade. The flea market fits perfectly into this heritage setting, offering visitors a unique treasure-hunting experience combining culture, history, and strolling.
The flea market is held every Tuesday and Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm, all year round, except in exceptional weather conditions. Admission is free and the market is easily accessible on foot from the city center. Numerous nearby parking lots make it easy to park. Between finds, visitors can enjoy the terraces of the cafés and restaurants along the avenues.
The Brocante des Allées Paul Riquet continues in 2026 every Tuesday and Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm. Furniture, trinkets, books, jewelry, and curiosities under the century-old plane trees of Béziers.
