The Domart-sur-la-Luce Plant Market, 20 years of plant passion

For 20 years, the small commune of Domart-sur-la-Luce, in the Somme Santerre, has hosted each spring its Plant Market, organized by the Société de Chasse Les Ulysses. On Saturday 18 April 2026, Place du Village, from 9am to 6pm, around 30 exhibitors bring together enthusiasts, nurseries and horticulturists around a shared passion: plants and gardening.

An essential gathering for gardeners

The plant market is the ideal event to prepare your garden for spring. You'll find a wide variety of plants: vegetable seedlings (tomatoes, salads, courgettes, aromatic herbs), annual and perennial flowers, ornamental shrubs, seeds, cuttings, succulents, bulbs and small fruit plants. Exhibitors, mostly passionate gardeners, willingly share their tips and advice for successful plantings and sowing. The atmosphere is friendly and conducive to exchanges between enthusiasts.

A well-established and accessible organization

The exhibitor stand price is €2/metre, allowing many amateurs to offer plants from their own gardens. Reservation is mandatory with Mr Pillon François, association president, reachable at 06 87 79 99 26 or 03 22 42 25 19. Catering, refreshments, toilets and disabled access are provided on site to comfortably welcome all visitors.

Domart-sur-la-Luce, a Santerre village

Domart-sur-la-Luce is a small rural village of the Santerre, halfway between Amiens and Roye. Crossed by the Luce river, a tributary of the Avre, it owes its name to this watercourse that shapes the surrounding landscape of meadows and groves. The commune is typical of the Santerre, a region of cereal plains marked by the history of the First World War. The quietness of the village and the charm of the Place du Village offer an ideal setting for the plant market.
