The Rue Maréchal De Lattre De Tassigny hosts around a hundred exhibitors, split between flea market sellers and artisans. The flea market vendors offer antique objects, trinkets, tableware, and curiosities, while artisans showcase their creations: jewelry, pottery, local produce, and decorative items. Stall space is free for flea market sellers (subject to a security deposit), while artisans benefit from a stand with a table for €25.
The Giant Rhubarb Pie: The Star of the Festival
The day's main attraction remains the making of the famous giant rhubarb pie, 3.20 meters in diameter, collectively prepared and shared among visitors. Rhubarb pies, muffins, and crumbles complete the gourmet offerings. Three musical groups, including Echo Lali, entertain on stage throughout the day, creating a festive and warm atmosphere.

The Morfontaine Rhubarb Festival takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, rue Maréchal De Lattre De Tassigny, in this village in Meurthe-et-Moselle. Organized by the Association Familiale Rurale de Morfontaine, it brings together about a hundred exhibitors — antique dealers and artisans — around the famous giant rhubarb tart, 3.20 meters in diameter. A day of flea market around rhubarb
Every first Sunday of June, the village of Morfontaine transforms into a major gourmet and flea market event. Rue Maréchal De Lattre De Tassigny hosts about a hundred exhibitors — antique dealers offering old objects, trinkets, crockery, and curiosities, and artisans presenting jewelry, pottery, decorative creations, and local produce. For the 2026 edition, the event is set for Sunday, June 7, from 9 AM to 10 PM.
The giant rhubarb tart
The emblematic attraction remains the making of a giant rhubarb tart, 3.20 meters in diameter, prepared from approximately 300 kg of rhubarb and shared with visitors. Rhubarb tarts, muffins, and crumbles complete the gourmet offering throughout the day.
Entertainment and atmosphere
Beyond the flea market and craft stalls, the day offers a Lorraine local produce market, children's rides, and street art performances. Three musical groups animate the central stage, in a family-friendly and warm atmosphere until the evening.
