For over two decades, Fesches-le-Châtel has organized one of the most regular and loyal collectors' fairs in northern Franche-Comté. This multi-collections fair, in its 21st edition in 2026, brings together exhibitors every year at the end of March to present and sell their collections in a variety of fields: philately, numismatics, cartophily, antique toys, coins and medals, militaria, minerals, and all the collecting passions that enrich the world of collectors.

The event is held in Fesches-le-Châtel, a commune in the canton of Valentigney in the Pays de Montbéliard, easily accessible from the towns in the agglomeration. Entry is set at €1, a deliberately symbolic price to allow as many people as possible to discover and participate in this event dedicated to the passion of collecting.

Twenty-one editions of passion and exchange

Twenty-one editions: this is the remarkable longevity of the Fesches-le-Châtel Collectors' Fair, which has established itself as a must-attend event for collectors from the Doubs, the Territoire de Belfort, and neighboring regions, particularly Alsace and Switzerland. The exhibitors, many of whom are loyal from one edition to the next, form a community of enthusiasts who gladly meet each year around their common hobby.

The diversity of collections exhibited is one of the strengths of this fair: in the same hall, you can find stamps from all eras and countries, rare coins, old postcards illustrating villages in the Doubs or around the world, tin toys from the 1950s, military decorations, and many other collector's items. For non-collectors, it is also an opportunity for discovery and perhaps the beginning of a new passion.
