Every May 8th, the Place de la Mairie in Pont-du-Navoy comes alive to host a double event: a car boot sale for individuals and a flower market. Organized by the commune's animation committee, this event takes advantage of the public holiday to bring together bargain hunters and gardening enthusiasts.

The individuals' car boot sale

The car boot sale is reserved for individuals, who offer clothes, toys, dishes, books, small furniture, and everyday items for sale. The pitch is charged at €2 per linear meter, which remains very affordable. Exhibitors set up from 7 am, and the market continues until 6 pm.

The flower market, a spring complement

Alongside the car boot sale, a flower market allows visitors to find vegetable plants, flowers, perennials, and shrubs to prepare their gardens. This combination of bargain hunting and gardening is the unique feature of this spring event.
