Swap meet and plant market organized by La Boule Silfiacoise
Every spring, the association La Boule Silfiacoise takes over the multipurpose hall and its surroundings for an event that combines flea market and gardening. On one hand, exhibitors offer second-hand objects, trinkets, and clothes; on the other, gardening enthusiasts discover shrubs, seeds, flowers, and tools. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with catering under a marquee.
Silfiac is a small village of about 480 inhabitants, perched at an altitude of 270 meters, making it the highest point in the Morbihan department. Located in the Landes de Lanvaux, near Guémené-sur-Scorff, the village offers a preserved rural setting in the heart of inland Brittany. The commune, surrounded by moors and woods, is a haven of tranquility appreciated by nature lovers.
The association La Boule Silfiacoise is one of the driving forces behind community events. By organizing this double event, it helps to bring the village to life and bring together residents from surrounding communes: Guémené-sur-Scorff, Ploërdut, Langoëlan, and Kernascléden.
