One of the largest car boot sales in Île-de-France with around 600 sellers, at Stade Langrenay in Longjumeau
Longjumeau is an Essonne (91) commune of around 22,000 inhabitants, nestled in the Orge valley some 20 kilometres south of Paris. Its rich history stretches back to the Middle Ages, when it was an important stop on the Paris-Orléans road. Today, served by RER C, it offers rapid links to Paris and Versailles.
Stade Frédéric Langrenay provides the perfect setting for this large-scale event. With around 600 sellers — both private individuals and professional antique dealers — the Grande Brocante de l'Ascension is one of the largest flea markets in Île-de-France, drawing visitors from across the region. Free entry, wide aisles and a festive public-holiday atmosphere make it a must-visit for bargain hunters. Registration forms are available at Longjumeau town hall from 10 March, or at the Café L'Excuse, 117 rue du Président F. Mitterrand.
