Edition Juillet 2025 — Farfouille Saint-Martin
The 2025 edition of the Farfouille de Saint-Martin-le-Châtel took place on Sunday, July 6th, at the village hall and surrounding grounds. 50 to 100 private exhibitors set up on the grass to offer clothes, toys, trinkets, and tableware. The symbolic price of 1 euro per linear meter, without reservation, attracted bargain hunters in this rural Bresse setting. Refreshments and food were provided by the Comité des Fêtes.

On Sunday, July 6, 2025, the Comité des Fêtes of Saint-Martin-le-Châtel hosted its annual flea market at the village hall, route de Saint-Didier. 50 to 100 private exhibitors set up their stalls on the surrounding grassy areas, in a typically Bressan setting between hedgerows and half-timbered farms.
Visitors appreciated the particularly affordable price of 1 euro per linear meter and the absence of reservation, which makes this flea market open to all. The shaded aisles allowed for comfortable bargain hunting despite the summer heat, while the refreshments and food provided by the volunteers of the Comité des Fêtes offered something to cool down and eat.
The next edition is scheduled for July 5, 2026, for another day of countryside bargain hunting in Bresse.
