Every February, the Emmaüs Thouars-Parthenay community opens its doors wide at 2 impasse Paul Billy for its first major sale of the year. Over two days, from 10:30 AM to 6 PM, visitors can discover a vast selection of furniture, dishes, clothing, books, appliances, ornaments, and everyday objects at very attractive prices, well below the usual shop rates.

A Solidarity Sale in the Heart of the Thouarsais

Emmaüs Thouars-Parthenay is a community of the Emmaüs movement, founded by Abbé Pierre, which fights against exclusion and poverty. Community companions collect, sort, and refurbish items donated by individuals. The sales, held three times a year (February, May, and November), help clear stock while offering even lower prices. All proceeds fund the community's reception and reintegration programs.

Three Sales a Year: An Unmissable Event

The February sale opens the annual calendar of three major Emmaüs sales in Thouars. It is followed by the May and November sales. These events have become eagerly awaited by residents of the Thouarsais and beyond.
