The Éclat'Event Creators and Artisans Fair is a new event dedicated to craftsmanship and original creations, taking place for the first time in Sélestat on May 30-31, 2026. Organized by the Éclat'Event agency, this fair exclusively highlights creators and small artisans, offering visitors a unique shopping experience, far from traditional commercial circuits. Handmade jewelry, interior decoration, textiles, artisanal leather goods, ceramics, original illustrations, natural cosmetics, artisanal treats, and local know-how: each stand is an invitation to discover unique pieces and authentic creations.

Les Tanzmatten, cultural gem of Sélestat

The fair takes place at Les Tanzmatten, the iconic cultural and event space of Sélestat. Located on the banks of the Ill, this modern and spacious building hosts concerts, shows, fairs, and exhibitions throughout the year. Its bright setting and large halls make it an ideal place to showcase the work of artisans and creators. Sélestat, a historic town of about 19,000 inhabitants located between Strasbourg and Colmar, is known for its magnificent Humanist Library listed as UNESCO heritage, its Sainte-Foy and Saint-Georges churches, and for being the cradle of the Christmas tree documented as early as 1521. The town is part of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park and is an unmissable stop on the Alsace Wine Route.

This first Éclat'Event fair in Sélestat is part of a movement to promote local craftsmanship and original creations.
