A day of bargain hunting in a Tarn neighbourhood
On Sunday 21 June 2026, the Moussoulars district of Couffouleux hosts its traditional neighbourhood flea market. From 8am to 6pm, over 100 private sellers set up in a friendly summer atmosphere. A fine excuse to browse near Gaillac and Rabastens.
Couffouleux, a small wine-producing village in the Tarn, hosts a peaceful housing development: the Moussoulars district. Each summer, residents turn their streets into impromptu flea market lanes. Over 100 exhibitors spread across pavements, lawns and private courtyards.
The Moussoulars neighbourhood association runs everything: registration, signage, refreshment bar, welcome. Proceeds fund neighbourhood activities throughout the year.
A wide selection: children's and adult clothing, toys, books, crockery, ornaments, DVDs, video games, small appliances, furniture, gardening tools. A few exhibitors offer more serious antiques. Prices among the gentlest in the Tarn.
Couffouleux sits on the slopes between Gaillac and Rabastens. Visit the Gaillac wine cellars (8 km), the royal bastide of Rabastens (5 km) or Lisle-sur-Tarn.
