Weekly antiques and secondhand book market every Friday at Place des Dominicains
Every Friday from 9am to 5pm, the Place des Dominicains and Rue des Clefs in Colmar host a must-visit antiques and secondhand book market. Organised by the City of Colmar, this weekly event attracts antique dealers, brocanteurs and specialist booksellers who set up in one of Alsace's most beautiful medieval settings, in the shadow of the Dominican Church bell tower, a listed historic monument.
The market brings together approximately 50 exhibitors, mostly approved professionals: antique dealers, brocanteurs and secondhand booksellers. A wide variety of goods can be found: antique furniture, crockery, old and secondhand books, engravings and prints, postcards, vintage posters, trinkets, decorative objects and collectibles. The emphasis is on quality and authenticity, setting this market apart from simple flea markets.
The market operates on a weekly basis over an extended season, primarily from April to June, with additional dates at other times of year. In 2026, scheduled Fridays include 10 April, 17 April, 24 April, 15 May, 22 May, 29 May, 5 June and subsequent Fridays through to end of June.
