Celon, a village between the Creuse valley and Brenne

Celon is a rural commune of about 500 inhabitants located south of Châteauroux, in the Indre department. The village is situated in a transitional landscape between the plains of Champagne berrichonne and the first hills of Boischaut Sud. The commune is crossed by the Bouzanne, a tributary of the Creuse, which offers pleasant walking sites. The Romanesque church and the stone houses of the village center bear witness to a discreet but endearing rural heritage.
