Final closing sale of the Case Métisse boutique in Strasbourg: fabrics, old linens, traditional Alsatian Kelsch
The Case Métisse Seamstresses Flea Market marks the end of a Strasbourg story. The famous Case Métisse boutique, established for several years at 46 rue de la Krutenau in the historic district of the same name, is definitively closing its doors. For this occasion, it is organizing a major liquidation event on Friday, January 9, and Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10 AM to 8 PM.
The event honors the treasures accumulated by Case Métisse over the years: exceptional haberdashery with rare fabric scraps, quality buttons, antique threads and pearls; a vintage universe composed of antique jewelry, antique household linens, and vintage furniture; and especially a rare selection of eiderdowns and pillows in traditional Alsatian Kelsch, this blue and red checked fabric, woven in linen and cotton, emblematic of Alsatian textile heritage.
La Krutenau is one of the most endearing districts of Strasbourg. A former medieval suburb, it has retained a bohemian and artistic charm that today makes it a favorite place for fans of alternative atmosphere.
On Friday, January 9, and Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10 AM to 8 PM, Case Métisse opens its doors one last time for a major definitive closing sale. Everything must go: rare fabrics, exceptional haberdashery, quality buttons, antique threads and pearls, eiderdowns and pillows in traditional Alsatian Kelsch, embroidered and monogrammed household linens, vintage jewelry, small vintage furniture, and decorative objects.
