The Car Boot Sale of the Twinning Committee of Camaret-sur-Mer

Every summer, the Twinning Committee of Camaret-sur-Mer invites bargain hunters and sellers to Place Charles de Gaulle and Quai Gustave Toudouze for its grand car boot sale. Open to everyone—individuals, associations, volunteers—this friendly event allows people to clear out their attics while funding twinning activities that maintain friendships between Camaret and its partner towns abroad.

Visitors can stroll freely among the stalls from 9 am to 6 pm, with no entry fee. Exhibitors are welcomed in the morning for setup. The pitch fee is €4 per linear meter, an accessible price that attracts both individuals wanting to make space at home and flea market enthusiasts looking to sell their finds. You can find clothing, books, toys, crockery, light furniture, vinyl records, and all sorts of second-hand items.

The Twinning Committee, a vector of international links

The twinning of Camaret-sur-Mer maintains friendly relations and cultural exchanges with foreign towns, in the great tradition of the European twinning movement born after World War II to build bridges between peoples. The car boot sale is one of the flagship events organized by the committee to raise public awareness and collect funds to finance trips, language stays, and cultural exchanges.

Place Charles de Gaulle, in the heart of the Camaret village, is a natural meeting point for the peninsula's residents. Quai Gustave Toudouze, along the harbor, extends the space and offers a breathtaking view of the fishing boats and the Iroise Sea. The atmosphere is typically Breton: relaxed, warm, and colorful.
