Summer antiques fair on the port of Camaret-sur-Mer, monthly from May to August
Each month in the summer, the iconic port of Camaret-sur-Mer is adorned with stalls of antiques and old objects. This monthly fair brings together about thirty professional exhibitors offering furniture, earthenware, maritime trinkets, and curiosities in the striking setting of the Camaret quays. Free entry, hours 8:30 AM - 6 PM. Organized by Ph. Beaugendre.
At the tip of the Crozon peninsula, where Brittany resolutely advances into the Atlantic, the port of Camaret-sur-Mer hosts a monthly antiques fair each summer, attracting bargain hunters and curious visitors from all over Finistère. The event takes place on the quays, a stone's throw from the famous stranded fishing boats and the Vauban Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage site, offering an incomparable maritime setting for this summer's treasure hunt.
About thirty professional exhibitors display their stalls of antique furniture, Breton earthenware, maritime objects, trinkets, silverware, paintings, and various curiosities. The quality of the items offered is guaranteed: the Camaret flea market accepts neither new merchandise nor copies of old items, ensuring visitors an authentic selection. Setup begins at 7:30 AM for exhibitors, and the market opens to the public at 8:30 AM until 6 PM. Entry is completely free.
Camaret is one of the wildest and most endearing towns in Finistère. Nestled at the tip of the Crozon peninsula, in the heart of the Armorique Regional Natural Park, this fishing village captivates with its grandiose landscapes: Pen-Hir cliffs, Toulinguet point, pebble beaches, and panoramic views of the Brest roadstead. The Vauban Tower, built in the 17th century to defend the access to Brest, and the Notre-Dame-de-Rocamadour chapel are symbols of an exceptional historical heritage.
The summer flea market is a natural part of the port's lively summer life. It attracts both the inhabitants of the peninsula and the many tourists and hikers who stay in the region during the summer months. Lovers of antique maritime-themed objects—compasses, ropes, scale models, boat photographs—will find rare pieces here.
Organizer Philippe Beaugendre, a regular on the professional flea market circuit in Finistère, is committed to maintaining a high standard for this fair. Exhibitors, whether from Finistère or other Breton departments, regularly meet here to share their passion and showcase beautiful items to an audience of antique lovers. A friendly atmosphere prevails on the quays, and the Camaret flea market is often the highlight of a day trip on the peninsula.
The Camaret-sur-Mer antiques flea market resumes its monthly summer appointments in 2026 on the port, from May to August. About thirty professional exhibitors are expected at each event to offer antiques, furniture, earthenware, and old objects in the unique setting of the Camaret quays. Free entry, 8:30 AM-6 PM.
