Saint-Sulpice-sur-Lèze is a commune of about 2,500 inhabitants located in Volvestre, 35 km south of Toulouse. Founded in 1255 by Alphonse de Poitiers, this medieval bastide has retained its central square lined with arcades, typical of southern 13th-century architecture. The village extends along the Lèze river, which runs through the commune and gives it its name. The architectural heritage also includes half-timbered houses and the old orangery in the Puybusque park, converted into a kindergarten.
The car boot sale is organized by the association of parents of students of the Lèze schools. All profits - registrations, refreshments, and food - are donated to the schools of Saint-Sulpice to fund school trips, educational equipment, and educational projects. Pitches are offered at 10 euros for 5 linear meters (13 euros with tables provided) and a free coffee is offered to exhibitors upon arrival.
The Puybusque park is located in the center of Saint-Sulpice, very close to the town hall. The refreshment stand and snack bar offer drinks and food throughout the day. Entry is free for visitors. Saint-Sulpice-sur-Lèze is accessible from Toulouse via the D4 via Muret and Carbonne.
