Car boot sale in this northern Beaujolais village on the borders of the Mâconnais
Every year in late September, the village of Ouroux hosts its car boot sale — a festive and convivial moment eagerly awaited by local residents and those from neighbouring communes. Sellers and visitors gather to browse and trade: clothing, old and new toys, books, crockery, ornaments, tools and decorative objects change hands in an authentic village atmosphere.
Ouroux is a village in the north of the Rhône department, in the Haut-Beaujolais, on the borders of the Mâconnais. A few kilometres from the Saône-et-Loire border, the village enjoys an exceptional natural setting: hills covered in vines and forests, with views over the landscapes of southern Burgundy.
Ouroux is accessible from Beaujeu (about 15 km) via the D26, and from Mâcon (71) via the D17. The commune is about 80 km north of Lyon. Parking in the village.
