Car boot sale in this northern Beaujolais village on the borders of the Mâconnais
On 27 September 2026, Ouroux holds its annual car boot sale in this hilltop village in the northern Beaujolais, at the gateway to the Mâconnais. Residents and exhibitors from surrounding communes gather for a convivial day of bargain hunting amid hills and vineyards, on the border between the Rhône and Saône-et-Loire departments.
Every year in late September, the village of Ouroux hosts its car boot sale — a festive and convivial moment eagerly awaited by local residents and those from neighbouring communes. Sellers and visitors gather to browse and trade: clothing, old and new toys, books, crockery, ornaments, tools and decorative objects change hands in an authentic village atmosphere.
