Every summer, the Boussac Loisirs association organizes its car boot sale, one of the most popular local traditions. In 2025, it was the 20th edition that was celebrated, proof of the event's loyalty and the residents' attachment to this summer event which has become an unmissable fixture on the local calendar.

The Tradition of Breakfast with Tripoux

What makes the Boussac car boot sale original and charming compared to many other similar events is the tradition of breakfast with tripoux, served in the morning by mandatory reservation. Tripoux is a dish from traditional Quercy cuisine, made from slowly simmered sheep offal. This friendly breakfast, served from the early morning, brings together exhibitors and regulars in a festive and warm atmosphere before opening to the general public. Drinks and food are available all day.

The Church Square, Setting for the Car Boot Sale

Exhibitors set up on the Boussac church square, the heart of the village, from 6 am. The opening to the general public is at 8 am. The stalls offer the usual car boot sale goods: clothes, toys, books, crockery, tools, trinkets, and small furniture. The event ends at 5 pm, offering a long period to explore all the finds.
