Virignin is a small commune in the Ain department located in Bugey Sud, on the banks of the Rhône, a few kilometers from Belley, the former historical capital of Bugey. The village organizes an annual car boot sale at the Vernet stadium, a pleasant and easily accessible outdoor space.

A human-sized event

With around forty sellers, the Virignin car boot sale retains an intimate and authentic character. The sellers, exclusively private individuals, offer clothes, toys, books, crockery, and small items at very affordable prices. The atmosphere is relaxed and conducive to exchanges between neighbors.

A remarkable natural setting

Virignin benefits from an exceptional natural environment, between the foothills of the Jura and the Rhône valley. The Vernet stadium, located at 311 chemin du Vernet, offers a green setting for browsing the stalls. The proximity of Lake Virieu and hiking trails allows you to extend the day with a nature walk.
