The Belley Car Boot Sale: Sunday meeting for bargain hunters in the Bugey

Every Sunday morning, the car park of the L'Intégral performance venue in Belley hosts a car boot sale open to all individuals. This weekly event has become a must-attend for bargain hunters in the Bugey, this beautiful natural region in the south of the Ain department.

A simple and accessible concept

The operation of the Belley car boot sale is intentionally simple: no reservation is necessary. Sellers arrive between 6 am and 8 am with a double-sided photocopy of their ID. For 10 euros, they get a pitch of up to 6 linear meters, with the possibility of parking their vehicle right next to their stand. The event ends at 1:30 pm, at which time all participants must have left the premises.

Located on avenue Hoff, the L'Intégral performance venue offers a large paved car park ideal for setting up stalls. Belley, a sub-prefecture of the Ain department nestled between the foothills of the Jura and the banks of the Rhône, attracts visitors with its remarkable architectural heritage and renowned gastronomy. Organized by Reant Recyclage, the Belley car boot sale is held throughout the year, on Sunday mornings from March to December. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with regulars meeting each week to chat, negotiate, and discover new finds. It's also an opportunity to enjoy the green setting of the Bugey before or after the hunt.
