Every summer, at the end of August, the small village of Le Bouchage hosts its annual car boot sale on the church square and the Rue des Corbassières. This village event, organized by the retirees' club, is an opportunity for residents to clear out their attics and cellars while enjoying a friendly day outdoors.

Le Bouchage, a village between the Rhône and lakes

Le Bouchage is a rural commune of about 500 inhabitants located in the extreme north of Isère, on the border with Savoie and Ain. This area, close to the Lac de Save and the Rhône valley, is a land of alluvial plains and drained marshes. The village retains an authentic rural charm with its small church and traditional farms.

A Car Boot Sale at low prices

With a price of only €2 per linear meter for exhibitors, the Bouchage car boot sale is one of the most affordable in Isère. This very low price encourages residents to participate and guarantees a wide selection of items at very reduced prices for bargain hunters. Stalls are set up on the church square and along the Rue des Corbassières.
