The 2025 edition of the Saissac Car Boot Sale was held in August in this Cathar village perched at 600 meters altitude in the Montagne Noire. Locals and holidaymakers gathered on the village square, with the Languedoc plain at their feet and the ruins of the Cathar castle as a backdrop, for a summer day of treasure hunting in the coolness of this exceptional natural viewpoint. Rustic crockery, books, clothing, tools, and bric-a-brac animated the stalls of this popular event in the Montagne Noire.

In August 2025, the Saissac Car Boot Sale brought together locals and holidaymakers on the square of this Cathar village perched at 600 meters altitude in the Montagne Noire. In the welcome coolness of this Languedoc summer, sellers and bargain hunters enjoyed a day of good deals with an exceptional panorama over the Languedoc plain.
The stalls offered a varied selection typical of Montagne Noire car boot sales: rustic-style crockery and kitchen utensils, books and guides on the region and the Pyrenees, clothing for all seasons, antique toys, agricultural and forestry tools, decorative bric-a-brac, and some rustic furniture pieces characteristic of the granite houses of this high-altitude area. The exceptional setting of the village, with the ruins of the Cathar castle overlooking the rooftops, gave this edition a particularly appreciated medieval and romantic atmosphere.
