The great spring car boot sale of Haut-Jura, on the historic squares of Saint-Lupicin
Every spring, the Comité des Fêtes de Saint-Lupicin organizes a large-scale car boot sale in the historic streets of this village in Haut-Jura, now part of the municipality of Coteaux du Lizon. The event takes over the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, Rue Rouget de Lisle, and Rue du Marché, offering a vast area for bargain hunters to explore.
The Comité des Fêtes makes it a point of honor to welcome its exhibitors in the best possible conditions. Tables and benches are provided under marquees, while outdoor spaces are also available for rent. Upon their arrival at 6 am, exhibitors are offered coffee and pastries, an appreciated gesture that contributes to the warm atmosphere of the day.
Visitors and exhibitors can enjoy varied catering throughout the day: grilled meats, fries, vegetarian sandwiches, crepes, and waffles. The refreshment stand complements this gourmet offering, making this day a true moment of conviviality.
The village of Saint-Lupicin, named after the monk who founded a monastery in the 5th century, has a rich architectural heritage with its Romanesque church Notre-Dame, a listed historic monument. Bargain hunters can extend their visit by discovering this remarkable heritage, just a few kilometers from Saint-Claude, the capital of pipes and diamonds.
