Annual car boot sale and flea market in June in Plouézec, a coastal town in Goëlo facing the island of Bréhat
Every year in June, the town of Plouézec hosts its annual car boot sale. Private sellers set up to offer a wide variety of second-hand items: clothes, toys, crockery, books, trinkets, small furniture, and curiosities of all kinds. A food truck and a refreshment stand are available on site to cater for visitors and sellers.
A coastal town of 3,200 inhabitants located between Paimpol and the Pointe de Minard, Plouézec occupies a remarkable position on the coast of Goëlo. Its cliffs offer spectacular panoramas of the bay of Paimpol and the island of Bréhat. The GR 34, the customs path, runs along the town's coastline, attracting many hikers throughout the year.
Plouézec's natural heritage, with its rocky points, coves, and coastal paths, makes it a popular destination for nature lovers. The Pointe de Minard, an emblematic site of the town, offers a breathtaking view of the Bréhat archipelago. The June car boot sale benefits from this tourist appeal, attracting a mixed audience of permanent residents and summer visitors.
The Plouézec car boot sale is a friendly and family event. Families come to clear out their attics while bargain hunters find treasures at low prices. The maritime atmosphere and proximity to the coast add a special charm to this day of treasure hunting in Goëlo.
The Plouézec flea market returns on Sunday, June 14, 2026, organized by the Plouezec Actif association at 7 chemin du Moulin de Craca, from 8 am to 6 pm for bargain hunters.
