The 2025 edition of the Car Boot Sale for LAM took place on Sunday, June 8th, at the Place du Foirail bovins in Laissac-Sévérac-l'Église. From 6:30 AM to 6 PM, individuals and bargain hunters gathered in the heart of the famous cattle market for a day of solidarity flea marketing. The profits from the event were entirely donated to the LAM association. Exhibitors set up freely at a rate of 2 euros per meter, and the Aveyronnaise good humor was present at this historic site, just a stone's throw from the second largest livestock market in France.
On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the Car Boot Sale for LAM took over the Place du Foirail bovins in Laissac-Sévérac-l'Église for a day of solidarity treasure hunting. From 6:30 AM to 6 PM, the aisles of the market transformed into a vast marketplace of finds, where clothing, tableware, books, toys, trinkets, and small furniture were offered to visitors at bargain prices.
The profits from this day were entirely donated to the LAM association, the event organizer. Exhibitors set up freely, without reservation, at a rate of 2 euros per meter, allowing for accessible participation for everyone. Admission was free for visitors.
The setting of the cattle market, where the second largest livestock market in France is held every Tuesday, offered a unique and authentic backdrop to this event. Laissac-Sévérac-l'Église, a commune in Aveyron nestled between Rodez and Aubrac, is a region where rural tradition and solidarity naturally combine, as evidenced by the success of this charity car boot sale held at the foot of the Gallic oppidum of Montmerlhe.
